your profile is cool as fuck. what are your favourite depressive and sludge metal albums? i'm always looking for recs. also, because you wrote you're an art lover, what are your favourite eras or artists? i look at a lot of art books in my free time & i'm always curious to find more beautiful stuff through other people! thanks so much moll :D so i'm less into albums more into songs. i rarely listen to an album front to back i prefer listening to a self-made mix of individual songs. but yeah i adore a lot of songs by Crowbar, Decalius, Daevar, Smother dsbm, Lifelover and Wounded Masquerade. and adjacent to that, Alice in Chains is one of my dearest bands. here is my "red playlist" on youtube which contains my favourite metal and metal-adjacent songs: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLX4iylxP1misntAt0LrcQZ0_97hRAjlsZ. my favourite art era keeps shifting. i tend to dig my claws into an era, gobble it all up, kind of exhaust it and then immerse myself into something new. used to love baroque, then impressionism, then more renaissance and gothic, now i'm totally into modern art from about 1918 to 1980. but some of my all time favourite artists will always remain Henri Matisse, Michelangelo, Boticelli, Bernini, Caravaggio, Gentileschi, Andy Warhol (despite his horrible personality lol), Mark Rothko, Van Eyck brothers, Berlinde de Bruyckere, Tracey Emin... :)) by snowy_forest_emo; ; Report |
