About me:
Asphyxium Zine (formerly Autoeroticasphyxium Zine) was founded in print in 1997, covering metal, punk, hardcore and alternative rock. It went online in 2015, having expanded to goth, grindcore/goregrind, doom and stoner metal, horror/occult rock, psychobilly, ambient, electronic, industrial, synthpop, darkwave and world. The zine features performance art, podcast radio, alternative modeling, art, photography, poetry and fiction, and occult subjects. Winston Blakely, Alex Kautz, Frank Garcia and M Teresa Clayton are some of the artists and writers who contribute to the zine. Asphyxium Zine has a readership in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, South America, Europe and Asia, Russia and Australia.
