I play an electric guitar and would love to pick up a bass one day. I draw as well but I usually keep my drawings to myself, may put some of them up in the future though. A big chunk of my free time is spent reading and researching about the things above, especially history, linguistics and zoology. I collect pretty much any article and resource/book I can find on them.

Music

Primarily black metal, ambient, dungeon synth/synth music in general, power electronics and d-beat but i also listen to a ton of crust, thrash metal, (old school) death metal and doom metal. Ask me if you want to know more or check my last.fm. I digitally hoard music as well, currently over 280 albums and counting.

Animals	1756570818 Hi there, thanks for the add some days back; I think your user profile is very nice. My classes for college started again and so I unfortunately am not going to consistently on here, but if I see a bulletin I may reply to it. I am unsure how often I'll make satisfyingly lengthy replies but I think I can fit those in my 15 minute study/work breaks. I have been thinking about picking up LoTR books again since I am now convinced that my high school self simply wasn't in a state to be able to enjoy such things. This is meaningless to bring up but I wanted to mention it anyways since you had it listed in your books group; I read The Hobbit in high school. I found a copy of "Roadside Picnic," and the foreward already has me intrigued. I cannot say if I'll finish the book quickly or soon since I am the type of student that has to allocate little time to things I enjoy in college least I get distracted and perform suboptimally, haha. I don't have a set taste in fictional books so it's hard for me to know what to ask. Ah, I almost forgot to mention that I also like moomins, though I've been slacking seriously in terms of finishing those novels as well. Last thing for now: I have also been trying to see what genres of metal appeal to me the most and I appear to enjoy the music of Agalloch and Xavlegbmaofffassssitimiwoamndutroabcwapwaeiippohfffx (this is actually the name of the band), but I am unsure what type of metal they can be said to be given that they're usually ascribed what appear to be very, very broad subgenres. I understand it may be somewhat feeble to try and find music you can click with solely through genres but there seems to be enough subgenres to suggest similar sounds and whatnot, kind of like how "shoegaze" music have similar sounds/"feel" and can be said to be a subgenre of "alternative rock" and "indie." minesweepooper	1719770695 love ur profile! i love to find history and archeology fans here as it is also one of my biggest interests. ornithology is also so interesting. admittedly, i didnt remember what it was by name and i had to search it but. i grew up surrounded by birds, we had bird clocks, bird calendars, and books about them. my great-grandma was obsessed with birds, shed only paint them. there is a beautiful painting of two tucans she gifted my dad, those and canaries were my favorites. still are. whats your favorite kind of bird?
