ahh thank you, I must say though most of it was purely me tinkering with pre made layout stuff!! most of my work was just adjusting things to make them look how I wanted to, and only learning how a couple of other things work so I could implement them myself. the credits should be at the bottom on my neocities and in the "about me" on here I think - I really appreciate it anyways! I'd love to learn enough css to customise things completely some day :)

yesss i feel that!! ive been getting into figures of hatsune miku recently bc their outfits and art styles all have individual charm to them and theres so many to choose from, and also some nendoroids and other poseable figures cos i think theyre adorable and i love taking them with me on photography trips!!
also hell yes i just saw ur music list and aaaah fellow steam powered giraffe enjoyer!! :D i love em, so glad to find others here who like them n their music!!

I would have to agree with tatarigoroshi tbh!! because the first two chapters were framed in a more "horror" kind of light, they were still pretty impactful, but that framing also made them seem less "real", I suppose (for good reason in the first chapter, though). but tatarigoroshi is where i felt a sudden flash of realism, and started to appreciate satoko as a character *WAY* more by learning more about her and seeing a more protective, familial side to her. and then the rest of the chapter hit me like a stab to the side - because of how real it felt in comparison, it all just felt more like a tragedy than a horror story.

spot-on and wholly agreed with. no other scene, in the series itself or in any other VN, gave me as much sincere grief as the headpat in tatari. (it's probably unhelped by the fact that ryuki once mentioned some of his stories stemming from personal experience as a civil servant; make of that what you will, i guess)

any plans on watching Gou + Sotsu, or?

I'm thinking about watching em yeah!! we'll see how it goes though, cos I know I can be quite picky when it comes to adaptations of media I enjoy, and I've heard that higurashi's anime series aren't necessarily the best compared to the vn? (plus I am a big fan of how the medium of visual novels helps create the atmosphere and perspectives, so it's tough to not go into other adaptations of them with such expectations). if I do watch them I hope I'll at least find some way to appreciate them, whether that's by really enjoying it or by largely making jokes about it!
