WPM is down. What's happening? Are you okay? Down. This rapid fluctuation is causing me to believe that this typeracer speed score is based on two small of a sample size to display meaningful long term changes. That last statement should not be interpreted as a slight against you. I was saying that typeracer seems to only base its score on a small sample size such that the number at any one moment does not well represent your skill overall. This means that a bad streak that should be statistically insignificant appears to show you doing poorly even though that momentary poor performance is not indicative of your actual skill level. Also, up. you're so right tho. it takes the last 10 performances and the prompts you get, harder or easier depending on the amount of punctuation, are completely randomized |
