What was your favorite part of Garden State? It's such an underrated movie! either the scene with "good luck exploring the infinite abyss" or the ending airport scene - it just satisfies the 'choose love' mindset part of me and the song that plays ("let go" by frou frou) is just perfect. do you have a favorite part/scene? GAHHH I frakkin' love Let Go. I quoted it as the epigraph in my first novel. And yeah, I agree with the "good luck exploring the infinite abyss part" but the party montage where Large is tripping out with everyone else around him, and the fireplace scene where he opens up about his tragic backstory. For trippy visuals: the quick gag where he's wearing the shirt his auntie made him with the leftover material from the wallpaper.
