Hell yes. 🙌💖 by Ruby; 1613550426; Report I'm studying over here! And as homesick as I am, I do love it here and intend to stay once I'm done with my master's (hopefully this semester). Berlin has become my second home. My dad actually lives in Arizona, so even when I'm home in Connecticut, there's still distance there. But it's great having an excuse to visit another part of the country, and I do love it out there. It's so gorgeous and completely different from everything I'm used to on the East Coast. Yesss, lots of overlap. :D Still really sad about Marko leaving Nightwish and definitely not over Tamisha Iman being told to sashay away haha by Sasha; 1613551343; Report Arizona is gorgeous, isn't it? I am from California and moved to AZ when I became an adult. I have family scattered everywhere out there. In general I consider the southwest my home. I hate the summers, but even then, it's such a unique place. What are you studying? How long have you been there? Yes, Marco leaving is such a huge change. When he joined it truly elevated their sound. The band has gone through so many changes and each time the feeling of the music evolves. Nightwish has been very resilient but this might be the biggest change ever. Poor Tamisha. I loved her energy. She was definitely a favorite. by Ruby; 1613566642; Report Yeah, Arizona is stunning. Last time I visited, we went to Bisbee and I fell in love a little bit. I'd also love to go back to Jerome and Flagstaff! I've been living in Berlin for 3.5 years now. I moved over on a Fulbright Scholarship to start a Master's in Library Science but that didn't pan out so I went back to my roots and am working on a Master's in Classical Archaeology (which I wonder if I'll ever finish because of Covid...ugh). Yeah, just gotta trust in Tuomas and his vision. As long as he's still invested in Nightwish, we'll have plenty of great music to look forward to.
