I hate it so much for bands these days. I still have a few friends involved in music and they had to cancel entire tours, losing all that money in the process.. and it affects so much more than just the musicians. Supporting local music is the greatest morale boost for the bands! Even if you’d go and see the same band 3-5 times a month, sometimes 2-3 times a week, not just every dollar, but familiar faces who bring out their friends and help the shows grow. I miss that part, too. I’ve been going to local shows since I was 12 years old, seeing so many different bands take off or when they’d break up, some members still playing in other bands or doing behind the scenes stuff, like producing, giving lessons on instruments, it’s like paying back! |

Cold are so wicked, no pun intended, lol. I used to go see them when they were still just a local band and known as Grundig. Getting to be apart of helping fans feel a little bit closer to their favorite band was such an incredible treat. Their music means so much to so many fans & that’s even still evident with the latest release. Thank you for your comment on my bulletin! |
