I just tried out your search engine and you can literally customize it, that is very cool! Do you block trackers and such as well? I noticed the blacklist and that is different, just kinda curious about it. I'm a normal DuckDuckGo user (Loathe google ugh) so what else do you have planned for it out of curiousity? What's the plus side of making an account? |

Our site has no trackers and not even any external scripts/content! Even the images that we display are passed through us to you, which prevents third-party cookies from being sent to your computer. We also don't save what anyone searches for (including pro accounts).
The main reason we made the blacklist feature is because a common problem on many search engines is that one website will take up all or most of the results for certain searches. If this ever happens to anyone using our service, they could add those sites to the blacklist and have a larger variety of sources in their results. We also made it for people that just prefer not to see certain websites for whatever reason.
We have many plans for Infinity Search but areas that we are going to largely focus on are adding more instant integrations (like searching for "timer" or "color picker"), improving our results, adding more specific/targeted indexes, and adding more customization options.
What the account gives you is results from Bing (along with our normal results) and early access to new features. For example, account users already have access to some advanced search capabilities for web and images. Since you came from DuckDuckGo and most of their results come from Bing, it would make our results more similar to what you are used to. The biggest benefit is just that since we are a new search engine and our results are not always relevant, combining results with Bing makes the results up to date with the main search engines while also being able to find the information from ours that you won't be able to find anywhere else.
