Whoa, nice! I've never been to Miami (except possibly the airport on a layover...?), but I imagine that was fun! It's been a LONG time since we've taken a vacation, so I'm hoping my family and I can take one in the coming months. I took a road trip up to Portland on Saturday to do some errands, and that was the most I've driven/farthest away from home I've been since probably the fall of 2019! It felt SO GGOD. :)

Yeah, that has been so hard to deal with this past year. When you aren't working at the office, and when everyone's either bunkered indoors or skittish about being around other people, and when you can pretty much only see family...? Oof, this has not done a lot of favors for my overall mood, let me tell you! We had our second child a few months before all this started, so we likely weren't going to go anywhere or do much the first year or so anyway, but all of this just exacerbated that situation and made it (after a while anyway) much more confined. I can't wait to go traveling again!
