Yeah I totally agree – this site works SO much better for creative people as you can view and share each others videos etc so much more easily. I guess it's also a big plus that this site doesn't have the algorithms that are in the big ones, advertising and boosted posts, all that crap that makes it hard to get organic reach with content.
