I'll have to check and see if I have any rare Saturn games in my collection.

They've released a Panzer Dragoon remaster recently, so might be the best aka most cheapest way to get hold of it.

I'd not heard of Deep Fear until you mentioned it. Apparently it was the last Saturn game ever released and never hit the USA. I bet its worth quite a bit these days.

I'd love Sega to release a Saturn Mini like Nintendo have been doing!

Hmm Saturn gems...well everyone seems to adore Panzer Dragoon but the are a fortune to get hold of these days. I personally loved Clockwork Knight and Sega Worldwide Soccer.

Yeah, Streets of Rage 3 is CIB with the original price tag of £15 still on it!
Made me wonder what else I have, not that I'm likely to see any of them.

JRPGs are my go-to usually. That or GTA5 online, man that is a super guilty pleasure for me. I love the GTA franchise a ton.
Being able to take in the game and experience everything it has to offer is def. the best way to play it. Persona 5 is really good game both gameplay wise and story. It’s not the best Persona in my opinion but it’s still really good. Enough to get a royal edition.
I am playing it a couple hours here and there to try and beat it. I could never go back to the Vanilla game.
Did you see the trailer for FF16? What do you think?

I asked my brother and he told me he has about 3 .Hack games on PS2.
I hope one day you finally get to complete the trilogy!
It's crazy how expensive some are...and they will only get more expensive as time goes by. I found out yesterday that my copy of Street of Rage 3 is worth £250!!

So glad that you remember Dark Saviour, I thought I was the only one!
It was such a unique RPG that deserves more credit.

I owned the Saturn when I was a kid, but within a year they stopped making games for it and I was heartbroken. I had to beg my dad for a PS1 instead!
Sadly the Saturn is notoriously difficult to emulate due to how it was made, the Anbernic won't play it, or at least my version :(

I didn't like the fact they implied alternate realities, but then again I'm only going off second hand info so im not sure if that's true. Totally understand that they want to expand and freshen it up but because its called 'Remake' I expected a remake, not a reimagining.

Oh jeez, I cant recall (wanna say Mutation) but I'll drop him a text to find out. I remember him saying they were very rare and quite expensive.

There's one I'd love to revisit called Dark Saviour on the Sega Saturn. I bet it's expensive now and Saturn emulators are very temperamental.

Large amounts of text are fine by me. No problem here.
I have thought about it here and there, I think if/when I build my own gaming PC I will probably try to stream periodically. My cousin does pretty well with hers, she seems like she has been having a ton of fun with it!

Zodiac Age really helps with the gameplay, thats for sure. As for the rest of the game I think the problem is Van to be honest? I don't care for him as the main character. I understand he is there for the player's sake, you know, to have someone to explain a bunch of information to without it being too annoying but I would have prefered Basch, Ashe or Balthier and remove Van and penelo entirely or at the very least off to the side instead of being the main characters. I personally belive that would have helped with a lot of the pacing of the storyline. Thats just me though.
Yeah the nintendo switch games are stupid expensive for digital and the library, while vast, is mostly shovelware right now. They could make some big profits putting some more retro games/ rpgs on there thats for sure. Only final fantasy 7 and up is on there! They could easily put ports of all the others on there.
Absolutely~ Persona 5 is very visual novel esque. You said you have vanilla or royal?

Ehrgeiz is sooo expensive, I just want to fight as Cloud lol. I'd love an original copy but if I can find .bin version to work on the anbernic I'd be happy enough.

My brother has a lot of PS2 JRPGs that are apparently hard to find such as .Hack and Star Ocean. He was big into that scene whereas I kinda stuck with FF. You ever play Vagrant Story?

gosh, I wish i was saavy enough back in 2000 lol. But I started 2002/2003! On DBZMail, lolll. And a 2d mmorpd called Mystera Legends. I became so hooked then but anytime before it I was computerphobic. I became super hooked to MMORPGs and it was the main thing I did afterwards. I literally thought if you touched it wrong something horrific could happen like maybe blowing up a country or something lol.

it really autoplayed for you? I know chrome usually doesn't let it. But /sometimes/ does. What browser are you using? lol but that coincidence was super cool What track was it?

also, yess, I remember topic websites. Jeeze, before any large 'monopolies' or large entities existed. There area some better aspects today, don't get me wrong. But there was plenty that was better back. Your everyday person was better able to establish themselves lol. idk it's weird but in so many ways I feel like your average person online is not as friendly now as they were back then.

Yes, actually. I have had that unfortunate circumstance happen to me with a few games. The big one being Final Fantasy X actually. I was behind on the times getting the game and all I heard was how amazing it was. I finally played it, mind you I did really enjoy it, but I was let down because my expectation was much higher than the reality.
That’s why I try to go into games that I *know* I am going to play almost completely blind.
Yeah, unfortunately I am a workaholic with some debt accumulated from poor decision making however I think by the end of 2021 I will be free from those chains and can quit one of my jobs! That will be exciting, just working 1 job! :D
The length of a lot of JRPGS is very intimidating! That’s part of the reason I feel I can’t ever finish any games because of game ADD. I tend to bounce around.
That’s a pretty good idea though for keeping track of all of your backlogged games though.

I really only have the ability to play my switch right now so I may try to finally beat FF12 the Zodiac age or get farther in Octopath Traveler. I’m only about 3 hours into Octopath. Im like 10 hours into ff12. (They really need to get some more classics on the switch though, I would love to play Chrono Trigger again! It’s a fantastic game for handhelds!)
I seriously want to play Breath of the Wild but they still want $60 for it digital and I just can’t bring myself to pay that for it!!
I am sure you already noticed the amount of exposition in Persona 5? That was the hardest part about the game for me.
