Movies

i could genuinely talk for a year straight about movies. film is my heart and soul. i quite literally exist because of it! (long story) here's some recs for you as someone who's watched over 300 movies :')

my favourite film of all time has to be kill bill (and its sequel). as much as i dislike tarantino, there is nothing more beautiful than a mother's revenge, especially when that mother is uma thurman. bought her onitsuka tigers in paris and wear them every other day!

if you're looking for something sad but hopeful, the shawshank redemption and the perks of being a wallflower are gorgeous movies. my favourite horror of all time has to be silence of the lambs (i love U jodie foster!!) and american psycho is a fantastic satire. hate the fans tho.

requiem for a dream is terrifying and crushing. every actor put their soul into that film. i also need to thank darren aronofsky (and satoshi kon) for birthing black swan. so visually pleasing; so thrilling! perfection!

jennifer's body, i believe in unicorns, my summer of love, the craft, and girl, interrupted are very near and dear to me.

some movies that made me laugh were superbad, mean girls, after hours, inglourious basterds, and fight club! speaking of fight club, i think it's a very interesting watch, not much of a comedy, and prompts a lot of deep thinking.
another fabulous movie is 12 angry men. i've watched it too many times.

i love action movies, so i must recommend point break, aliens, speed, and die hard. long time favourites!
