What part of the PNW do you live in? I actually do like it up here ^__^ I honestly hated it for the first few months because I've always been a big city boy living in San Diego prior to my move but I've learned to appreciate nature a lot more and humble myself since moving up here :D

That sounds like a pretty big adjustment. I'm glad Washington grew on you, it's such a beautiful state. Lots of good hiking around Spokane! Have you visited Seattle? Not as big as San Diego but it's a fun city. Have you adjusted to the clouds/rain? I hear a lot of people from California struggle a bit with that.

Oh dope! You're just like 5 hrs or so away from me. Definitely a HUGE adjustment! It really is such a beautiful state...so lush and green! I LOOOOVE the hiking spots here in Spokane! I also LOVE Seattle as well! Been up there a few times for some music festivals and enjoyment of tourist spots ^__^ The aquarium and museums up there are amazing! I especially loved the MoPOP and Chihuly Garden and Glass Museums :D Oh man, I moved here right when Winter started so I struggled EXTREMELY driving in the snow. LOL. I've gotten a lot more adjusted to it the past several years though. Haha

I sure am! :D I can't wait to go to the glass museum when things calm down more. I've been up a few times this past year to visit a friend and I had him take me to the food forest. I like trying the different restaurants If you haven't visited the Olympic National Park yet you totally should! I bit further away but it's worth it. Hahaha even I have a very hard time driving in snow! Granted I live in the valley so we don't typically get much snow here. We get an inch and the city like shuts down. Which I'm all for, I freaking LOVE snow and am so grateful to live by a ton of mountains.
My aunt tried convincing me to move to San Diego a few times. I'm sure it would help my depression a bit with the sun and whatnot, plus I love the sun/heat, but I'm a huge forest gal.

Ughhh, same! Been wanting to go back up to the museums there again and visit my friends T__T The food forest?! Wuhhhh?! That sounds so fucking magical! Haha. I'm all about it! I love food, no matter what region or culture. Definitely always open to trying new things. And no, I haven't visited the Olympic National Park yet! Let's put that on the list as well! Haha. Yeah it's a park with a ton of edible plants! I recommend checking it out, probably lots of good food in the spring/summer. Don't even have to pack food for a picnic! :p Me toooo and Seattle has a lot more options than my city. I hope to visit again soon to try a biscuit place my friend keeps talking about. Ohh also add Rainier National Park! My buddy works there and sends me such beautiful pictures. Hoping to go camping around there this summer.
Well we also just don't have good infrastructure for snow. We don't salt the roads and have to send in snow plows from other areas. The temperature varies a lot so there's a lot of black ice :/
Yeah she moved there a few years ago. I'll visit her some day and check it out. I mainly want to experience a warm ocean haha. The beach rarely gets hot here and even if it does the water is still cold and scary.

Ahhh gotcha. That makes a lot of sense. Black ice is terrifying. I had my worst experience with black ice a few months ago. I was driving home on the freeway on a really snowy evening. Watched a couple of cars spin out in front of me and hit each other and I ended up spinning out afterwards but was able to avoid any collision. Definitely counted my blessings in that moment...took the next exit, pulled over to the side and had to gather up my composure before driving again. WOOOO. Not fun at all.

Oh nice! Yes, you definitely have to visit one day. San Diego is such a beautiful city and there's so many scenic spots there as well. Not to mention SOOOO MUCH delicious food :D Spokane definitely needs more culture here but it's improving! Haha. You'll definitely get warm ocean temperature in San Diego. For living in San Diego pretty much my whole life, large bodies of water scare me. LOLLL

Silhouette is a banger! The Artist in the Ambulance was the first song I ever heard by them. Not my favorite song at all haha but it got me hooked.
I've seen them twice and both times were amazing. Can't wait to see them again some day.
