COOL WEIRD SHIT! the more surreal or gross or absurd or visually striking the better. my favorite filmmakers are david lynch, david cronenberg, and george romero, but I have all sorts of favorite movies across genre. lately I have been very into giallo and other italian horror. ask me about lucio fulci for a series of incoherent ramblings. // Click HERE for a very loose list of my favorite movies

Television

Twin Peaks, the x-files, star trek, jackass, the twilight zone, and tales from the crypt. not a television show in the traditional sense but I am very fond of internet sensation RedLetterMedia's Best of the Worst series.

Books

historical nonfiction, literary classics, surrealist wackjob stuff, pulpy horror and pulp detective/crime novels // currently reading The Atrocity Exhibition by J.G. Ballard. I've read his earlier, more traditionally-structured novel Crash several times and am very interested in the loose interconnected nature of the short stories in this one. it's neat, difficult to describe. cool stuff!

I don't believe idolatry is very beneficial. but rodney mullen is the man
