I stopped programming due to some life things but i before that i was still pretty new to programming in general, i learned python, a bit of rust, and crushed my soul with c++, but anyways, what i programmed was very basic games, the last thing i've finished before quitting was a pygame pong game with some extra additions (the ball scrolled wrapped around the screen, and there was a dash movement and a "parry" move, it was inspired by lethal league blaze), i can show you the game if you want

the ball wrapping was infinite, so there was no delay, and the ball increased the speed everytime a paddle touched it, dash added a bit more and added a temporarily multiplier, parry slowed down temporarily.
each player had like 30 hp or 100hp, if you messed up the ball could wrap around the screen in your side a couple of times and you would lose hp very fast
