You've finally graduated, right? I remember you were building up to that for quite a while in your posts. Where next do you think the wind will take you? |

What is one habit of yours that you think other people would be benefited by picking up? I have a lot of kinda bad habits tbh, but if there was one thing I do try to maintain |

With your computer fascinations and taste in books, I think you might like Rise of the Computer State. It's a bit dated when it comes to both the computer technology of the time and the kind of apocalyptic vocabulary it uses, but if you can get past the parts that haven't aged so well, I think the core description of the way that computer systems are used to bend laws by the government holds true and might be an interesting read for you. Rise Of The Computer State sounds interesting, I was already planning on getting Permanant Record (Edward Snowden's autobiography) so maybe I'll get both. |

What computeresque project are you most invested in rn? getting linux to work.. :p That's real asf. Sometimes life just gets in the way. Have you modded yomi h before, or is this you wetting your feet? How does modding a godot game work? Is there an existing modding interface or is this like unity game where you inject a payload at runtime? |

+1 for not having any of the anime girls hold SICP. this is fresh. this is novel. this is good. appreciated. my process was just search the repo by languages I use and pick ones I liked. Is sicp hated because of a dislike of the actual book, or just the fact that it is so overused among the weirdos who really like the knights of lambda calculus attitude? i donβt hate SICP personally, itβs a fine resource, i just think its a little uninspired that a huge chunk of the βanime girls holding programming textbookβ images are solely about SICP. its nice seeing so many all holding different things w none of them being SICP |

With how much you seem to like pictures of anime women holding programming books, I think you might fit in pretty well at lainchan. |

You have stamps for a lot of different distros. Do you use that many? I added a lot of these awhile back cause linux and all. rn I only have NixOS on my desktop, Arch on my laptop. I've used several others previously tho I've heard nix described as both brilliant and unusably confusing It's a very funny dichotomy as someone who hasn't touched it. What are your thoughts on it? It's pretty different than using the ol' command line package manager and systemctl. For the most part, packages and services are managed by a system config file in the Nix language (so nix can refer to the language, the package manager, and the OS.) I think it's really cool how quickly you can make changes and revert them because of the declarative nature of everything, especially since it has automatic backups. Only main downsides is nix has its own way of doing most everything, and docs can get sparse beyond the surface-level stuff. Definitely not for everyone but it's been really fun imo |

What's your tf2 main? (Assuming team fortress, not titanfall.) |

Greetings and Good tidings. I won't even lie I saw your profile last night and you put in to words the type of stuff I was thinkin, so decided to add it Real. I have been around the block for a while, so I've had the time to figure out what I want from a place like this. very fair. I also really enjoy the model of the platform, but there's simply no incentive if people just add one another to get a quick dopamine boost, I guess that's the double edged sword of such an open and flexible platform |

graduation is on the 6th, so close..
I'm not 100% certain. definitely going to finish the A+ cert, I'll see how that pays. I might go to college for a bit; community offers certs in 3 quarters, so it might be worth it to go and get one of those if the pay is any better. outside of that, just try to enjoy things I guess.. make money, don't be homeless, that type of thing.
how is life going for you fawkes?

I'm taking a summer off for the first time since entering college. Not at my most productive by any means, but I've been doing life stuff like spraining my ankle at a bachelor party, going to a wedding, and figuring out insurance, healthcare, and dental stuff.
