General	Gaming - Strategy Games (mostly from Paradox Interactive), Fighting Games (like Guilty Gear and YOMI Hustle) Racing Games (Forza, NFS), Sandbox/Sims (Cities: Skylines, RCT, Planet Coaster, No Limits 2), Shooters (like TF2 and Overwatch) and more! Programming - I do quite a lot here! My fav language is Rust and I love Python and Typescript as well. I've worked on Discord Bots, Web Apps, Back-end Applications, and more. Also getting into modding with Godot :3 Learning - I love learning about the things I love! Computers/Linux - I love tech in general. especially Linux. I've been daily driving it since Summer 2023 and love it. At the time of writing, I use Nix and Arch. Music - See my music section! Language/History - Figured I'd meld these since they are similar.. pretty big history nerd and sorta into linguistics. Fluent in English, basic literacy in German and learning Esperanto.

Report Comment I have a lot of kinda bad habits tbh, but if there was one thing I do try to maintain When starting a new project, or learning a new thing, or just in general working on something that takes a lot of ambition, don't go around and tell people "hey guys working on a new thing!!" cause you can catch yourself up in the hype you get overwhelmed and never actually.. do the thing. Fawkes	1712166337 With your computer fascinations and taste in books, I think you might like Rise of the Computer State. It's a bit dated when it comes to both the computer technology of the time and the kind of apocalyptic vocabulary it uses, but if you can get past the parts that haven't aged so well, I think the core description of the way that computer systems are used to bend laws by the government holds true and might be an interesting read for you. Also if you're into cyberpunk, I'd highly recommend both Neuromancer and Lain. Those two might be kinda basic recommendations if you're already into cyberpunk, but I can't tell without prompting! What are your thoughts on it? by Fawkes; 1708551851; Report It's pretty different than using the ol' command line package manager and systemctl. For the most part, packages and services are managed by a system config file in the Nix language (so nix can refer to the language, the package manager, and the OS.) I think it's really cool how quickly you can make changes and revert them because of the declarative nature of everything, especially since it has automatic backups. Only main downsides is nix has its own way of doing most everything, and docs can get sparse beyond the surface-level stuff.
