thx 4 teh add :) just rewatched american psycho last night its such a fun movie!!!! np i love ur profile! yess its so good. weirdly its become a comfort movie of mine haha lol! i can def relate O_o the VO scenes feel like an elegant lullaby-- straight up cant think of any other performance that matches the patrick bateman accent its so unique!! by coffin.milk; ; Report ikr! the pacing and cinematography really wrap you into the story. Even if I've watched it a hundred times I still get tense waiting for the Paul Allen axe scene. Magnificent piece of film, very sad that its been stereotyped as a film for misogynist men :( yes absolutely! i think, like fight club, it just suffers the fate of having an interpretation that glamorizes hyper-masculinity. misogynist dorks prefer 2 sit and marvel @ the raw power of patrick bateman and completely dismiss the burden that comes it. by coffin.milk; ; Report soo right. there is so much deeper meaning in it but they only skim the surface. I love films/content that have psychological elements to them. Ur grossed out by all the murder n stuff but at the same time u kinda understand the character better thru it, how he sees his life and the people around him. interesting stuff! |
