Ivys & Rarities's Interests

General

MIDIs are really cool, and so are video games! We both find ourselves playing Ultrakill, trying to find internet gold mines, and find some work to get inspired by. After all, what's a little bit of reddit to get inspiration for a song title?

Music

Well, we can't just answer ourselves, can we?
The project takes inspiration from many electronic projects and MIDI recreations around! We want to specifically credit Smaz9, Toby Fox, Aphex Twin, and NomNomNami and main inspirations, however we've also taken inspiration from various other little tunes from video games and other media alike!

Movies

Long YouTube essays and other YouTube tutorials that are hours long.

Television

We watch a lot of YouTube creators, can we count that?

Books

We don't really have anything to mention here. Let's say, 1984.

Heroes

Toby Fox!

Ivys & Rarities's Blurbs

About me:

Welcome! We're another music account with regular interaction.
Ivys & Rarities is an electronic-chiptune duo run by SpaceHey members Kam (18) and Nova (13), two close people who both learnt by starting their blind music journeys over two years ago!

I&R was created in September 2023 to assist with Kam's newest project, which eventually evolved into the I&R project, with the release of a now pulled project in March 2024, followed by Outlive the King on July 14th 2024.

Since then, Ivys & Rarities has evolved into a passion project with active updates, and the two behind the project have continued to work together on this collaborative effort, regularly releasing demos as a hobby!

Who I'd like to meet:

We'll add almost anybody who's willing to listen! We currently have a YouTube channel with all of our releases available and will be putting up a Bandcamp some time in the near future! We're also looking for Bandcamp alternatives so we can distribute releases, so if you know any places, please send an IM!

You may not want to add this account if you're uncomfortable with having interactions with people under 15 and people over 17. We know this is not ideal.

If you're looking to have more serious, personal, or more formal interactions, it is recommended to add one of the two project members' SpaceHey page directly instead of adding this account.
