I actually haven't heard of that one before! I'll have to look them up. Did you take your inspiration for your style from Gorillaz? They're one of my favorite bands! I've actually tried to draw in that style before and it was a bit of a pain. Needless to say, I just doodle here and there. Though my son has his own style and I am doing my best to nurture that because I know he wants to be a game designer when he's older. I gotta ask though, do you take commissions?

OMG Gorillaz has been one of my foundational inspirations since I was 13 〒▽〒 It really is a hard style to draw in, Jamie Hewlett is really good at what he does when he tries! If you've got any recent art though, I'd love to see it, im always interested in seeing other artists work ^__^ Also I think it's great that you're doing your best to support your son's art journey, a lot of parents wouldn't do that over the fear of how unstable getting income as an artist can seem (even though you could easily make it work out orz) so it makes me happy to see that stigma seems to be changing =D As for commissions, I'm flattered you asked! I'm very picky with commissions though, I can only accept and properly deliver if it's an idea I can get behind! (^///^)

Well since I love to draw and honestly never did anything with it I want him to have that support that I really didn't have when I was a kid, ya know? I mean, don't get me wrong, my grandparents were awesome supporters but they never pushed me to do anything with my art. It was more of a hobby than anything. Same as these days. Honestly, I haven't really drawn anything worthwhile in a good two years. Just doodles here and there so nothing all that good. I can understand what you mean about commissions. I have an OC that I have been wanting drawn in the Gorillaz art style. So if you're ever in the mood for that, ya gotta let me know! <3

Yeah I think im going to be the same with my kids if I ever end up having any, it might be extreme but I much more value pursing your passion and being happy over trying to appease others, its possible without the support but its MUCH harder @_@ As for your request though, that sounds like something id be down to do ^__^ if you wanna talk abt it more u can PM me a ref of ur character and we can chat from there =D
