aww thank you <3 & i feel the same way! a lot of my non music cds were from twisteddanger too before it shut down, somewhere our cds are in purgatory 3 and yeah it is the animated show :) from adult swim & im pretty sure aired 2006-7, and its retained a lot of the energy/humor of its time so i hope you enjoy it <3 theyre getting a movie in august so theres been a small revival. also nice to see another downtown lover!!

omg thank u sm!! thats a really good start with the cds!! theyre pretty affordable at thrift stores, garage sales and on ebay if ur looking for more!! for metal cds u have to be really lucky secondhand, u can obbviously support the artist directly by buying off bandcamp and such!!

my favourite way to discover new metal music while collecting cds and supporting small bands is through the metalheadbox!! its kind of expensive if u dont live in the u.s but its a monthly subscription box where u can choose ur genre and what u want and u get pins, shirts, cds, vinyls, cassettes whatever u choose and they include small artists in their process which is really cool!! ive found some really cool black metal projects on cds through them!! they're very trustworthy in my opinion u can look up the unboxings on youtube if u want an idea of what u get too!! (i might make a blog post about them bc i really do recommend their subscription)

Holy fuck tysm for this info! Ill deffinedly be checking them out! Thankfully im in the US so hopefully it wont be to expensive lol.

Though i do know a few metal record stores around my area and they have some cds. Honestly collecting cds is more easier than vinyls because theyre expensive as hell. And plus i dont know any good record players.

cds are absolutely more accessible than vinyls or cassettes!! i have a few local cd stores but most of them have closed down recently bc theres no demand anymore :(( i own so many different genres tbh its all over the place, i just buy what looks interesting and the listen to it when i get home!! album art is so important i think bc if it looks interesting or pretty ill buy it haha if u name a cd i probably have it or am on the lookout on ebay for it!! i have nu metal, pop, rap, 90s and 2000s stuff, black metal, dsbm, classical, punk, rock, i think one or two goth cds, soundtracks, grunge etc i love a bit of everything which is why a lot of them i burned myself so i have my own playlists as cds and make the cover art for them!!

I actually have a cd wishlist on a blog here and i need to update it soon. Though some of the cds i cant fine in stores and such so my only option is buying them online. Also i usually buy cds if i have heard of the whole album before but now i think i should try exploring some stuff that i havnt listened to yet. And dsbm you say? Do you have anything from xastur? Ive been thinking of getting their album nightmares at dawn on cd but i can barely find it anywhere (only like on a few websites lmao)

yeahhh it sucks that you cant hang them up anymore, but hopefully one day LOL. and totally!! i have a couple ones i printed at shops and then others from stuff like magazines, records and online stores. the paper backs of cds also make for some cool little designs to put in between the bigger ones. you should totally post some of your collections if you havent id be way down to see some of it X))
