General |
I'm mostly interested in languages and etymology, things of that sort! English is my second language, so I'm planning to pursue a degree in Germanic tongues. Actively learning: Japanese, Italian, Latin, Spanish, Re-Learning German and some simplified Chinese. Aside from that, my hobbies include sewing, drawing, amateur writing. I find myself passionate about dolls and toys, so I indulge in making and sewing things like that. One of my favorite hobbies is stimulating nightmares by listening to horror game OSTs during sleep and reading about things of graphic nature to accumulate "fuel". |

Music |
I'm a big fan of melodic things, pianos, strings and bells. I listen to lots of video game OSTs, v-kei and rock as well. But I feel like my tastes are always expanding, so I listen to anything I might find pleasant, even if it's not my "style". My favorite artists at the moment: Shikata Akiko, ZUN, Kurahashi Yoeko, Shiina Ringo, My Dead Girlfriend, Mili, Masafumi Takada, xaki, The Blue Hearts, Remioromen, Nastyona, DADAROMA, Plastic Tree, Deathgrips, Kanako Ito. |

Not really into movies, but I am an avid fan of Satoshi Kon. My favorite movie of his is "Millenium Actress". I'll also watch movies if they are a part of the series I'm interested in. |

About me:
Good to see you on my page! My name is Alexander, and I'm a big fan of all kinds of things. My biggest wish in life is to become a "Renaissance Man", excluding skills involving complex math and physics (I will Not be putting myself through torture). Unapologetic otaku!!! I love cute girls... I'm also horribly mentally ill, so please be kind! I love sleeping and seeing dreams, so I am always looking forward to resting well. I am pretty sure I'm neurodivergent, but I cannot get a mental evaluation, so I will sometimes act "funny". I am tired most of the time despite all my efforts, so posting often on social media can be draining for me.
Anyway, I hope you have fun here! I mostly post my art, sometimes poetry. Anything goes. I'm quite a disorganised person. I also tend to disappear for long periods of time, so if you hear nothing from me for months, it's only natural and I am absolutely alright.
I'm a big fan of visual novels and lost media, obscure things and convoluted beliefs. I'm not exactly religious, but I find myself collecting different ideas and weaving them into my personal view of the world. I mostly take after Taoism, Buddhism, Paganism and some Orthodox Christianity (as that was what I was born into).
I hope my blog can be fun to explore!

I like all kinds of people! Really, anyone who shares the same interests as me. I'm mostly just looking forward to meeting people who are self-aware and open about their passions.
