General

I'm mostly interested in languages and etymology, things of that sort! English is my second language, so I'm planning to pursue a degree in Germanic tongues. Actively learning: Japanese, Italian, Latin, Spanish, Re-Learning German and some simplified Chinese. Aside from that, my hobbies include sewing, drawing, amateur writing and VERY amateur coding.

Music

I'm a big fan of melodic things, pianos, strings and bells. I listen to lots of video game OSTs as well. But I feel like my tastes are always expanding, so I listen to anything I might find pleasant, even if it's not my "style". My favorite artists at the moment: Shikata Akiko, ZUN, Kurahashi Yoeko, Shiina Ringo, My Dead Girlfriend, Mili, Masafumi Takada, xaki.

Movies

Not really into movies. But I am an avid fan of Satoshi Kon. I'll also watch movies if they are a part of the series I'm interested in.

Television

My favorite shows at the moment: "Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei", "Revolutionary Girl Utena", "Mawaru Penguindrum". Currently watching: "Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko", "Steins;Gate".

Books

My favorite books at the moment: "The Temple of the Golden Pavilion" by Yukio Mishima, "Demian" by Hermann Hesse, "Faust" by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Currently reading: "Il nome della rosa" by Umberto Eco, "A Flower in a Sinful Sea" by Jin Tianhe and Zeng Pu; as well as discovering Agatha Christie's work (reading it in no particular order)!
