This includes postal stamps, books, pins, FDCs (first day covers), figurines, brochures, and other misc items. I will probably post a blog/bulletin of the full collection one day. Favorite item in my Snail Kite collection is a very nice wooden figurine I got for my birthday! I have a CD collection as well! This includes Fall Out Boy, some other pop punk, Weezer, 90s rock, and 2010s pop (my guilty pleasure, it's very nostalgic). Favorite CD I have is probably Folie a deux deluxe. I might also post about my stamp collection, although I don't think many philatelists/people interested would be on this site. (For anyone interested in stamp collecting + birds, birdtheme.org is such a great site. It's very easy to see stamps compiled by bird.) Favorite stamp I have is a tie between my Cuba 2017 Snail Kite Stamp and my Fleetwood FDC featuring USA 2006 Snail Kite stamp. Television	My favorite birds are usually Birds of Prey (Accipitriformes, especially), Corvids, Long Legged Wading Birds, and Seabirds/Waterbirds. I am fond of parrots (specifically Macaws), Piciformes, and grackles, too. My favorite bird (and animal) of all is the male Everglade Snail Kite, or Rostrhamus sociabilis plumbeus (my local variant!). Just so you know, I think the female is awesome too! I just think the male looks slightly cooler. I have physically seen (and photographed!) a male Snail Kite on a trip to one of my state's State Parks, featured below(sorry for the blur)! All heron photos, the square photos (bluebird, crow, seagull, heron, hawk, osprey, cardinal, anhinga, snail kites), and the greenish grey snail kite stamp were taken/made by me.
If you want to use my shitty photos, I'm honored, and you're free to use them. If you need a better quality image of any of them, feel free to ask.
All photos taken by me were on a Nikon D3000. Lens is usually an AF Tamron 70-300 mm, but I occasionally use a Mirrored Tamron SP 500mm. If you want more specs or specs of a specific photo feel free to ask!
Only my parents call me Linus/Lou as a nickname lol, y'all can still call me those though, I think it's funny.

I have more hobbies I don't talk about often (programming, dioramas, being tech support for my relatives, competitive pokemon), which I don't talk much about due to either being a noob, or not having much to say about it. I will talk about them if asked though! I'm ass at competitive pokemon lol

♡ jovi 🐹	1735917816 omg your photos are BEAUTIFULLLL! i love birds sm! is that a pic of a red shouldered hawk in your who i'd like to meet section? we have a couple pairs of red shoulders that nest on/near our property, i ADORE THEM!! my favorite bird is... hmm... actually i dont know because i genuinely love so many of them. blue jays are a contender ^_^ theyre sweet and smart and funny! i love their whisper song, i get to hear it a lot in the spring. just a few days ago i counted 12 blue jays by sight in the trees by the driveway, and there were more that i could hear but not see there's one i know by sight because she has a lame leg, i named her tåkete. haven't seen her in a while, i hope she's doing well and another i dont know quite by sight, but by attitude and sound. she's loud as hell, and imitates red shouldered and red tailed hawks CONSTANTLY! so i called her linnie (after buteo lineatus) :3 id love to chat with you about birds!! im getting into ornithology so itd be cool to have a bird nerd friend to geek out with HEHE Report Comment Ahh thank you! Sorry thins answer is going to be long... Answering your questions, I do indeed have a favorite from each of those groups lol. For canids, my favorites are maned foxes and dogs. If we’re talking about dog breeds in particular, I’d say Rough Collies are my favorite. In general, Collies and shepherd breeds hold a special place in my heart. For hyenids, my favorite is kind of unoriginal, but it’s the spotted hyena!! I actually love them and find them interesting. When it comes to sharks, I have several favorites because they’re all AMAZING since each one has its own uniqueness. My top favorites would include frilled sharks, Port Jackson sharks, wobbegong sharks, and lemon sharks. Finally, when it comes to ursids, my favorite is the brown bear!! AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING: my favorite birds are hawks, especially African harrier-hawks, and American barn owls. Although I haven’t had a lot of time to research birds, so I’m not completely sure about this selection lol And yours? Honestly big border collie fan over here lol. Also a Coyote and Shih tzu fan (I have a shih tzu terrier mix). I honestly don't know too much about hyenas, but I'd say I like Striped Hyenas and Aardwolves. Love spotted wobbegongs for sharks, as well as threshers. Frilled Sharks are super cool though, they look a lot like eels (my favorite fish lol). I like Grizzlies + Black bears. Favorite overall mammals has gotta be Anteaters, Wildcats (servals, snow leopards, fishing cats), and Binturongs. Definitely love hawks and eagles, harriers are super cool. Personal favorite hawk groups are the Buteoninae sufamily (bueto hawks, buetogallus hawks + eagles, Buzzards, Snail and Slender Billed Kites). If I had to choose it'd be the Snail Kite as my favorite, love them! I honestly think they look super cool, are incredibly unique, and are fairly close to home.
