About me:

DJ DONUT is a DJ, singer, musician, artist. She has been collecting records since she was a child, She is passionate about electro music, nudisco, italo disco, 80s, indie rock, synth wave, new wave, krautrock and techno. She likes to spin records and mix different but similar genres. From 2004 she started to be a DJ becoming residents dj in different realities of the Milanese hinterland playing after Giardini di Mirò, Blondie, 2 many djs, Trans Am, Chk Chk Chk, Robin Guhrie (COCTEAU TWINS), Damo Suzuki (CAN) Sonic Boom (SPACEMEN3). She played at Elita, Le Cannibale, Milano Pride, Mix Milano, Eurocrash, Wunder Market, Popstarz, TILT, Noloso, Qclub, Mono bar, Plastic, Magnolia, Magazzini Generali, Alactraz. In 2009 she was part of the RAZZPUTIN CREW project, founded by Davide Monteverdi (deejay dave-rollodexx), and also part of POLYESTER SO'80 by Simone Black Candy & Dj Donut withAle Pochette at the TOILET CLUB (in the old building in Via Ludovico il Moro in Milan). In 2018 she founded LA FORÊT project toghether with Puntojoy and Katjastrike, and in collaboration with Laura Angeli and Dann Shara. La Forêt is the party for those of us who have to deal with nocturnal animals, for uncontaminated alien forests, for the sounds of the night and for those who have great visions. We are the Forest Venus and a #GRLSQUAD crew: we like to stay in the streets and dance in the Underground clubs to make them bloom and give magic. We are itinerant and in our parties there is eclectic and kaleidoscopic visual music. "We like to insert artistic content between art and design that give poetry to the evening. We fell like post apocaliptic girls from space; we live inside the project and we aspire to give to a city like Milan something fresh and different.
