And it's so cool seeing someone who lived this one, but continued adhering to the 'status quo' in the meantime. I've purposely tried going on the down low after going to university. My life was too hectic and crazy beforehand! But ooof. I know you could promote posts. But I didn't think it was /that/ bad nor a necessity to pump money into it. Wtf. I noticed that too. Time also being a sensitive factor in the algo. If you stop a while, it just leaves you behind. Depending on the platform, I noticed some things can help mend it, but still. Wish they could be at least still a little transparent about engagement. I also think just some formats work. It feels like on other platforms, it's like winners take all. Monopolize/hoard followers. No mutual exchange. When you make a connection here, it requires a MUTUAL exchange to connect and you both +1 eachother's network. And public profile comments always just worked. Oooooof. But thank u for the insight it's fun to hear other's rich experiences on it
