General	I make lights blink and hearts melt~ Narrowboats and the english canals are my current (1.5 year) obsession. Get me talking about them and I won't stop. Literally won't stop.
Music	Party stuck at 128bpm? HIT THE PARTY LINE BREAKS DRUM AND BASS HARDCORE SKA PUNK BOUNCE PSYTRANCE RAVE BIG A LITTLE A BOUNCING B. THE SYSTEM MIGHT'VE GOT YOU BUT IT WON'T GET ME It's not all high-energy. When I wanna be a bit more zen, I listen to psytrance, psychill, etc. There's lots of good free music on https://ektoplazm.com - I don't think any new music has been added for about 3 years now sadly, but thankfully there's an absolute ton of old music on there.
Movies	The 1995 tech thriller 'Hackers', written by Iain Softley is the finest piece of cinema ever created. But for real, I mostly watch suggestions from friends. Anything weird, interesting and stuff... my wife used to be a cinephile so she's always got amazing recommendations
Television	I don't watch much TV these days. Too much trash on YouTube probably. Tasting history with max miller, steve1989mreinfo, old episodes of robot wars... I'm also all too happy to carry on re-watching the odd episode of The Simpsons seasons 1 through 8
Books	I should read more... I should *write* more....... Recent reads: Solaris by Stanislaw Lem the restaurant at the end of the universe by Douglas Adams Fahrenheit 451 The list of books I've bought and not read is slowly expanding... kinda tough with the limited space on the boat
Heroes	I don't really consider anyone a hero, but I love my mum
