I'm sociable, at least my friends describe me as a very cheerful and outgoing person, although my weakness is that I sometimes take a while to respond. There's no ill intent behind my delay; my mind is a hive of a thousand strange projects and inventions that I'm trying to bring to life.

I installed MySpace because I held onto the hope of reconnecting with that technology many of us grew up with: spaces without relentless algorithms dictating what we see, places free from visual overload and the constant bombardment of stimuli.

I'm exhausted by perpetual overstimulation, that forced exposure where it seems obligatory to know what everyone else is doing at all times and to feel that everyone else has the right to scrutinize my life. The anxiety of constant comparison and the ease with which we've normalized such draining dynamics on modern social media. I simply long for a space where technology can feel like what it once was: a refuge.
