General

i feel like im constantly jumping between a million different hobbies and interests, but my main ones are probably writing, drawing, music, film, knitting, emo/scene culture, bugs, filmmaking, analog media, reading, playing guitar, sewing, and rollerskating!!

Music

i honestly love all types of music (and not in an "oh except country" or "oh except pop" kinda way) BUT emo, pop-punk, indie-folk, and punk will forever hold a special place in my heart. my top artists (in no particular order) are my chem, bright eyes, fob, the academy is, kimya dawson, hail the sun, i set my friends on fire, ptv, muse, alex g, circa survive, thursday, car seat headrest, big thief, sufjan stevens, modest mouse, death cab for cutie, and motion city soundtrack.

Movies

my letterboxd top 4 includes sorry to bother you (boots riley), i saw the tv glow (jane schoenbrun), ringu (hideo nakata), and totally f**ed up (gregg araki), so basically i love anything weird, campy, and a little depressing. im also a huge horror nerd, with the thing, lake mungo, saw, jennifer's body, and get out being some of my all-time favorites. i love love love to nerd out about movies and even though i've seen a lot, i am always down to watch more so PLEASE give me your favorite recs i promise i will watch them and talk about them with you after.

Television

buffy the vampire slayer is my absolute favorite tv show of all time, but im also a big fan of hannibal, bojack horseman, soul eater, community, over the garden wall, madoka magica, adventure time, interview with the vampire, and mob psycho 100!

Books

slaughterhouse 5 (kurt vonnegut), howl (allen ginsberg), rosencrantz and guildenstern are dead (tom stoppard), women race and class (angela davis), and uzumaki (junji ito) were some of the books that had the biggest influence on me throughout middle and high school and have remained my favorites to this day.

Heroes

im big into social activism, so kimya dawson, conor oberst, boots riley, dan and phil, anthony bourdain, and hayley williams have been huge sources of inspiration for me throughout my life. more personally though id say my amazing amazing friends and my mom :]
