About me:
Heallo !! I'm KiwianDoesThings (Kiwian for short).
I like programming a lot, and it's my main hobby. I'm entirely self-taught. In terms of languages, I know C++ pretty well, but am not advanced with it, I'm currently learning C#, and I know the web design languages, albeit I don't have much experience with them.
If you can't tell from my interests section below, I'm not really a book, movie, or tv person. I have a really hard time just consuming media in my free time because I feel unproductive, and so I end up not consuming much.
Check out my personal website at kiwiandoesthings.place!!
I've pretty much never had to use "!important" before in CSS until I had to style this page T-T. Now I have to use it on every other property.
My page styling is still way under construction pretty much basically done except for a few small bugs, and is based off of my personal website.
Very sorry about the bad contrast, these colors are taken from a palette from my OC (which you can see as my profile picture) and had very little thought put into them. I will likely add a toggle later for a better color palette, but that might take a while.
Enable custom cursor (bad contrast, will fix... eventually)

How did you get started? My dad does has a lot of programing books(python, java, and i think C#) did you just pick up a book one day or is it something different?

I've always found the best way to learn anything in programming is to just do things with it in the real world. I've picked up plenty of books as well, but for me, they never really helped. I can't remember exactly where I first learned what HTML/CSS were and how to use them, but there are really great references on w3schools. But ended up actually learning those languages just through making random things (my current website is the 3rd iteration of it from a clean slate). My learning loop has always just been starting projects and searching anything up that I don't know how to do. Over time your knowledge just accumulates and, most importantly, you only accumulate the knowledge that you actually need for your purposes, because you only learn the things that you've needed in the past, as opposed to pretty much any more formal learning method. That's just me though, also sorry for the absolute paragraph of a response.
