bugbass's Interests

General	I sort of already did a decent job giving you a general description of what I'm all about in my About Me, so uhh.. yeah. Give that another read if you're reading this following that! :)
Music	I'm a huge fan of collecting CDs, vinyls, and being able to port music onto my laptop with MusicBee! I try and regularly update my RateYourMusic page (https://rateyourmusic.com/~skarpocalypse) in order to track singles, EPs, and albums that I have listened to and have in my physical collection! In terms of the music I typically listen to, I'm usually playing out hip hop beats, oldschool UK dubstep tunes, early 2010s brostep, funk & soul, psychedelic rock, experimental electronic music, and 90s boom bap. My favorites artists of all time are likely Burial, Skrillex, J Dilla, MF DOOM, Pink Floyd, Chief Keef, Daft Punk, Aphex Twin, Coki, Space Laces, Chat Pile, Yes, Thundercat, Prodigy, and Miles Davis!
Movies	I recently got into watching movies thanks to my roommate, so the number of movies I've watched is fairly small. I'm a huge fan of giallo films though, horror is likely my favorite genre. In terms of my all-time favorites though, Whiplash (2014), Her (2013), The Thing (1982), and La Haine (1995) are on that list :)
Television	I'm unfortunately not a huge TV person, sorry! :(
Books	I'm unfortunately not a big reader (at least when it comes to books).
Heroes	I'll treat this as more of an "inspirations" category instead, but I have people in mind. My inspirations would have to be my father and Bisan Owda.

Hello there, I'm Marcy! I'm a 19-year-old journalist currently in college for my Master's who happens to be online from time to time alongside my kitty cat. I have previously been an active user on SpaceHey, but I'm giving it another shot despite a lot of the seemingly valid criticisms people have with this website in its current state. Outside of work, I'm a massive fan of collecting physical media, playing Super Smash Bros. Melee on my CRT, and teambuilding on Pokémon Showdown. I'm hoping to find some like-minded individuals on this website who are willing to engage in conversation and actively looking for new people to befriend, don't be shy! Who I'd like to meet:

If I could meet one person, I would cheat and meet the members of Daft Punk. Whether it would be the journalist or fan inside of me, I would have so many questions to ask them ranging from their music, personal lives, current thoughts on the music industry, and so much more. Maybe one day I'll get really lucky, but that's likely a pipe dream. If we're talking about this website though, uhh.. I'd love to meet anyone in all honesty. I kindly ask though that, if you want to interact with me, please do not be a minor. I'm looking to connect with people who are around my age, that's all!
