I don't really watch many modern TV Series. My favorite one has to be Everybody Hates Chris. I've watched a lot of older series (mainly 1950s - 1980s), so if you ask me about one, I may have heard of it

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley (not an exhaustive list, I'll add more eventually).
