A good cup of coffee is all i need to last a day, cappuccino to be specific. Warms my soul, melts my heart, makes me sigh and smile like no other. Truly a necessity...though the current state of the economy may turn it into a luxury soon, tch.

The color blue, specially steel blue. The color that brightens the sky, paints the sea, makes a sapphire sparkle, how could i not fall in love? Might be a basic choice but hey, perhaps i am one who simply adores the simplicity in this chaos we call life.

The number 5, my lucky number infact. Its a number that has always been the most prominent throughout my life, i was even born on may, may 15. Its a lovely number, i have no clue on how to explain it, i just know its my number.

My favourite flower, Myosotis, also called the forget-me-not. A small tinsy little flower, its petals often compared to the ears of a mouse, thus the name's origin comes in. It's mostly blue in color, you see the charm yes? I am a small and frail person myself, sadly. I see myself in this adorable thing, we're both so easily dismissible. Lovingly amongst my close friends, i am jokingly called a rat. And lastly...just like this flower, i too wish to not be forgotten. Aren't we practically the same? If i were reincarnated as a flower, i would indubitably be a myosotis.

My favourite animal, cats all the way. I am seen as a cheerful and loud person, though i digress. As such, most people automatically assume i would find kinship in dogs but...in all honesty, i am a tad bit wary around dogs instead. Not to say they aren't just as adorable, i find comfort and safety in the company of cats is all. They are quiet and calm...unless its a ginger but overall, i love that you can just sit with a cat in silence and not have to do much to feel at ease. Contrary to popular belief, i do love myself some peace and quiet.

Letters, yes the old type, written in a piece of paper with ink bled through, folded and kept safe in a envelope with a stamp pasted on. The old way, the only true way in my eyes. Isn't it simply so full of love? To write all your love down, to receive a paper thats physical proof that someone spent their time, in a day of digital simplified ways, they threw the middle finger to the easier path and instead took time out of their day to write for you? Just for you? A steady flow of words, focused on keeping a neat handwriting, to improve their words and actually write in full sentences instead of the usual "ily, ikr, tbh", making sure no writing errors are made too. The amount of work that goes here was once a norm, now an anomaly. For someone to turn to the old ways and forgo the present, for you, what else can be this romantic? Oh i dont mean romance in only the romantic sense, even platonic kind! Be romantic to your friends too, love is unexplainable and abundant, give it to all! This is your sign to write a letter to your loved ones.

Hugs, loads and loads of hugs. Oh how i YEARN to have a proper hug for once, a suffocatingly long one. Is it truly a good hug if not for the small fear you may feel in between a crushing grip, fearing your last breathe may be within these few seconds of a loving embrace? I'd say thats a wonderful way to go. Killed with love, perfect. Unless i am clinically insane and you're reading this with a religious book in hand, ready to ward off all evil from my writing. Oh don't be so dramatic, reader, live a little...or don't in this case.

I cream! Wait-i cream? No i meant Ice cream-ugh we all cream! Whatever, ice cream is the next topic. Let it be known that any being who feels nothing in the mentioning, offering or presence of this delectable cold treat is a scoundrel in my eyes. I am watching you, whoever you may be, lord forbid you're in my page reading this right now. Sleep with both eyes open for anywhere you go from now on, safety will become a foreign concept. Anyways, i'll leave it at this, hopefully my hatred will work well in showcasing my love for Ice cream. Additionally, obviously, i prefer coffee flavor.

Spicy and savory food, is my nationality obvious to all you judgemental folks out there? Well, for once, your racism will prove to be right! I am indeed Asian, most of us are masochists likely, we love having our tongue seared off. Or at least i do. Nothing screams good food like one that gives you a burning sensation better than any lover can. Oh and savory is just...well, it can be spicy but i personally like it because of texture, i despise dry food.

The beach, the sea, the bright blue water. We're stepping into emotional territory. Psh-no no this isn't the part where i spew out my miserable backstory where a loved ones dies at sea with me grabbing onto their corpse, screaming out to the skies and the gods for such cruelty and injustice which then leaves me to my present self of seeking revenge against all liquids that exist, essentially erasing mankind as without water none of us can exist so technically i become a villain. No no, this is just a feeling of nostalgia, you can relax. I have always visited the beach during my childhood, oddly it was always during the winter. Winter here is not as cold as most places, it doesn't even snow so the beach was oddly warm and toasty, the sand was like a comfortable cushion, the water may have been a bit cold but it was the type that would send excited shivers down your spine. It left you energetic, satisfied, with a sense of belonging and utter guileless joy. Though reality would bite back with every piece of fish bone that would wash to the shore and give you the opportunity to step on. Hah, the things i'd do to go back to those times. Its my second home after all.

Libraries, oh please don't you dare call me a nerd. I don't read books as much as i once did now but...the feel of a library, the old smell of books and the occasional dust that flares up my allergy, the towering shelves and the peace that surrounds...its a booktok girl's wet dream. Thankfully, i am not a booktok girlie so this is just a wholesome dream for me. I hope you see my vision, just standing near the shelves and seeing every type of book suited to so many people's wants, it feels like seeing a whole new world. I feel so small amidst such knowledge, just a big library itself makes me realise the vastness that is the universe. Imagine my panic when i am thrown into space one fine day, i'd likely explode.

Rain rain don't go away, come again everyday. Call me a sappy little shit but there will always be something nostalgic and romantic with rain. Also traumatizing if you're a protagonist of some sort, my condolences. The way the sky darkens even during the day, putting a blanket over the bright blue, the smell of the earth, the rain's way of letting you know it'll be here soon and the downpour itself. To some, rain could mean the cloud's tears, the start to a bad day, some greek god peeing down on us measly humans-yeah i'd agree with the bad day guy if this was the case. However, i tend to see rain as...hugs. Quite simple with little to no meaning behind it, this could maybe even be a wet slobbery kiss if you're into that. Perhaps i have a tendency to romanticise simple things in life, its for my own sanity and i advise everyone else to do the same. Wallowing in misery is no fun and i am sure the rain agrees, it just wants to cover us in its love, wet and cold. You feel the most alive when shaking like a leaf, don't you?
