General	Photography, videography, civil aviation, true crime (Rotten Mango & Dark Asia with Megan), reading about real disasters, Eddsworld (I guess), illustrating, dystopias, anything China, crappy off-brands, crappy designs, Engrish, mid-century modern and brutalist design and architecture, and retrofuturism.
Music	I enjoy any kind of piano music, as long as it's relaxing, Yiruma, or Richard Clayderman. Also, I'd say Europe, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Plain White T's, Tom Petty, The Beatles, and The Verve are all pretty fine. As of yet, I am slowly leaning toward Mandopop and Cantopop music (BEYOND, Jacky Cheung, Sky Wu, etc...) Also, if anything sounds catchy, YES.

Books	A Child Called "It", Animal Farm, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Hobbit, The Outsiders, and absolutely anything written by Ray Bradbury. Will finish reading 1984 soon, maybe... Will have the guts to read the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy. However, I do not really have enough time to comb through books.

About me:

Andrew Zhong. Birthday on October 11. 15-year-old boy from Guangxi Province in Mainland China and legally living in the U.S., in the Southern California region, south of L.A. I'm in the Pacific Time Zone (UTC -8; UTC -7 during Daylight Savings).

I just want to exist as a decent guy in society, honestly. Now, if you say that I'm an avgeek, I'm more of a photographer. I enjoy photographing and filming anything interesting to archive for the future. I also enjoy illustrating whatever happens across my brain in my spare time, whether it is digitally (if time allows) or via pencil. If I were to sketch pencil sketches, I couldn't be bothered with colored pencils; plain #2 pencil is just about enough. Everything is a hobby for me (i.e. I don't do any of those literally for a living). If you're looking for something that is more candid, you can visit my personal site (which I have linked).

Now, I am the amenable type. If you request me to do something, it is duly noted and I can and will carry it out as soon as physically possible. If you have a genuine problem with something, I can and will perform as you wish.

Note to self: I'm not here for the attention. Rather, I'm simply here to spill out all my thoughts raw in tandem with my personal blog. Things will get personal really fast. Also, I joined SpaceHey on October 19, 2025, in case that's important at all.

P.S. In case you don't know, my main basis for this layout is those old Solari departures boards at airports. (Not my photo; the one pictured at LAX has since been replaced by a giant TV somewhere between 2020 and July 2025) As such, it is perfectly fine to me. I have another note to self: Blinkies are excessively flashy and rather cliche for a lack of a better word.
