About me:
You are free to stand here and watch, but please don’t stare for too long1!! I start feeling like a bug under a magnifying glass1!! My head is made of spinning glass marbles and one of them keeps rolling away, I keep trying to catch it but it’s slippery with thoughts. I am composed mostly of loose wires and misplaced metaphors. I organize myself by rearranging the chaos into neat little boxes, labeling them things like “humor” or “melancholy,” and then forgetting which is which. I get nervous when people look at me too kindly- I think kindness is a spotlight, and I never learned how to stand still under it. Please interact with me, please don’t leave yet, I promise the static will settle if you wait long enough1!!

I have a habit of apologizing to inanimate objects when I bump into them. They never forgive me, but I like to think they appreciate the gesture. I overuse punctuation because silence makes me itchy, and I need the dots and lines to breathe for me.
Sometimes I think my brain is a badly tuned radio, picking up frequencies from another version of myself who is much braver, or much quieter. We take turns speaking through the same mouth. I don’t like choosing between them. I don’t like choosing at all.
I am afraid of forgetting and equally afraid of remembering. Both feel like losing something. I like people who smile with all their teeth but mean none of it- or maybe they mean it too much. I like when people ask strange questions, like what color is your conscience.? or do you think your reflection loves you back.?
I don’t hate myself, I just find myself… inconvenient. My machinery works, mostly. The lever still turns. The little lights blink. If you listen closely, you can hear the gears grinding out another thought.
Anyway, hello, I’m here. I’m trying. I’m very glad you are too1!!
Who I'd like to meet:
Anyone strange and unusual who tickles the worms in my brain and is maybe nice to them, or excessively mean- they like that too. Any interaction counts, just please talk to me. You can be as mean or as nice as you want, but don't add me if you have nothing to contribute...So boring. Maybe someone else whose brain cogs malfunction from time to time, loose screws are jolly good as well1!!
