General

TANKS! Other stuff too, but I mean, that's the main one. I also have been getting into old tech, I've been pillaging my parent's old stuff like camcorders, PS2, and similar such things, finnicking with them, getting them back into working order, and such. It's nice, I think developing some basic technological know how is really great and it makes me feel good to fix something myself then having to rely on somebody to pay. I like racing games, Minecraft, and Flags.

Music

Folk music is my one true love. Whenever I sing along with these songs, I feel a member of a community stretching the long ways back to the beginnings of humanity, and human culture. In particular, I of course enjoy The Weavers. But I also enjoy much of the revival movement like Phil Ochs or Joan Baez. I love the old northern songs of Canada and New England as sung by Stan Rogers and Schooner Fare. My family comes in part from Scotland, so I very much like songs from that country as well, especially from the ever peerless Corries. Very much I feel the need to say that my introduction to this genre was through the songs of the labor movement, the old union hymns, and so I cherish those songs ever so greatly as well.

Movies

My very loose top 3 movies (in no order) are 7 Samurai(1954)/Ran(1985), Apocalypse Now Redux(1979), and War and Peace(1966). Right behind those 3 are probably Speed Racer(2008), Macross: Do You Remember Love(1984), and some other stuff, I'll get back to this section.

Television

Currently watching Sailor Moon R, Mobile Suit Gundam, and Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040.

Books

Currently reading: On War by Clauswitz Recently I've completed The Most Dangerous Game by Richard Connell, Either/Or by Soren Kierkegaard, and The Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad.
