what does your name mean and what inspired you to pick that |
It is a portmanteau of polygot and octothorpe. As for the reason, I was studying polygot programming and I wanted something that related to tech and social media, so as I was thinking about it I remembered octothorpe as the proper name for hashtag. Eventually it came together as polygoctothorpe (though temporarily I used polygothorp) which was fun to say and found it pretty unique.
Though ultimately this was just me trying not to default to old user names since I decided to retire them for old personal accounts.
Thanks for asking, it is fun trying to explain my strange thought process.
