patch xP's Interests

General	i do a ton of different things and yet nothing at all. i crochet, i play bass (not well), i sing (also not well), i read, i collect rare pieces of band merch (specifically pre-split panic! at the disco), and i also collect physical media (CDs, vinyl, cassettes, soon to be DVDs). i have a blog post of all of my physical media on my page. i also kind of wrote a couple of chapters for a fanfiction, but that's on an indefinite hold. you can still read it tho, the link for my ao3 is on my page
Music	emo/pop punk panic! at the disco, fall out boy, my chemical romance, pierce the veil, sleeping with sirens, paramore, the academy is..., cobra starship, a heartwell ending other rock idkhow, david bowie, billy joel, aerosmith, alanis morissette, the brobecks, ghost goth bauhaus, siouxsie and the banshees, the cure, ministry, london after midnight, depeche mode jazz and jazz-adjacent will wood (and the tapeworms), shayfer james, laufey, frank sinatra, andrew bird misc. ruen brothers, jess hess, twenty one pilots, talking heads
Movies	i don't watch movies super often, but some of my favs are "labyrinth" (1986), "the muppet movie" (1979), "jim henson: idea man" (2024), "the truman show" (1998), "ghostbusters (1981), "stargate" (1994), and probably a bunch of other more obscure films i can't recall at the moment
Television	supernatural, stargate sg-1, doctor who, good omens, criminal minds...i think that's it. i don't watch tv a lot either :P
Books	"house of leaves" by mark z danielewski is such a trip and i love it so so much. it's the perfect combination of mind fuck and unreliable narrators and switching from one perspective to another. the typography is also really well done. it takes me so long to read tho. i also started reading "make art make money" by elizabeth hyde stevens, which is about jim henson's balance between business practices and creative fuel in regards to his works
