Dude, this is the first time I've seen someone who likes Ween. What's your favorite album? Mine is The Mollusk, I love every song on that album. |
The Mollusk is just fire. That whole album is a masterpiece. It’s just got the best atmosphere. It’s definitely the album I enjoy the most. But part of me finds The Pod interesting just because they recorded the whole album with mono. Something about them being really sick made for a whole different vibe.

Dude, I love The Mollusk too. It's perfect. Two other Ween albums I love are Quebec and The Friends EP. They sound great, especially Quebec.

Have you listened to their "brown" shit?
by lucasthejequel; ; Report
Are you referring to "Paint the Town Brown"? No, I'm not one to listen to live albums.

I don't either. I never listened to that album. Their earlier albums are brown. That's what it's called. It's meant to describe some weird space between good and bad, and it just naturally emerged from them fucking up and life getting in the way, but it's all interesting sounding cause it's on a whole different wavelength.

Ahh, damn Google Translate... Well, yeah, I listened to their debut album, The Pod and Pure Guava. Honestly, the only one I liked was The Pod. The others are... weird. Sometimes they get boring or tedious, and sometimes they're good, like The Pod. Or at least that's how it is for me.
