🖤 Hi, I’m Samantha, but you can call me Sammy ♡ I’m torn between keeping my curls alive or getting a permanent straightening so I can be emo ✧(>o<)ﾉ✧ (though I’d never let my curls die, I love them). I like to say I’m emo, even if sometimes my clothes make me look like I’m starring in a teen soap opera about an existential crisis—I have many styles. My parents won’t stop saying my hairstyle is emo, but it’s literally just some strands on the side; I keep telling them it doesn’t count unless I have the full outfit (one day I’ll be 100% emo). I’m OBSESSED with My Chemical Romance and The Beatles. Yes, I can go from singing “Oh! Darling” like a hopeless romantic to screaming “Thank You for the Venom” like it’s life or death. I also listen to a thousand other things because my music taste is pure chaos ♫ My Chemical Romance isn’t just music. It’s how I survive in this broken world. Loving Gerard Way isn’t a phase. It’s a lifestyle. I write lyrics no one reads, draw random stuff I find on Pinterest, and quietly pour them into notebooks. Overthinking is my superpower. Silence is my shield. I crave midnight conversations about everything and nothing. If you scream “Thank You for the Venom” with your whole soul and cry to “Helena” like it’s a prayer, maybe we’ve already met—in another life or another song. I’m 15 and use she/her pronouns. My favorite animal is the dog (I have a black short-haired Chow Chow with caramel spots; yes, he’s adorable, very destructive, and a little antisocial—like me). Spanish is my native language, but I’m learning English so I can scream what I feel in more than one language.
