General

visual novels with a retro-esque style, RPG maker games, girls that play guitar (good LORD), books!!; Acting, EXPRESSIVE make-up ( I prefer not to wear it unless I am going ALL out ) youtube documentaries, GL comics on webtoon, I like painting and collecting teddies. I burn incense in my room and I like the feel of different textures of things. I love wearing shitty clothes and styling them into something "shabby chic". I love a house that's got character. I'd so much rather be in a room thats an absolute shit tip with gorgeous books and pressed flowers and tapestries and seashells and Art and Craft decorations everywhere than some pristine, almost uncanny valley marble-topped kitchen. I like yummy drinks, and I like messy hair. I love freckles and the way girl's eyes look when they're about to kiss you. I like the smell of rain in the mornings. I like poetry. I like ddlc and I like basketball. I like sketching drawings, starting to colour them in and leaving them. I like climbing fences to visit my friends. I like talking in the back garden and I like going for walks. I like that weird hour at sleepovers where everything starts to feel sort of not real but absolutely wonderful and you kinda feel high. I like remembering 2020 and holding onto the good bits. I like doing super embarrassing stuff for the bittersweet, adrenalytic thrill of it all. I like to journal. I love to write. I like to over analyse people and situations and I like making stories and movie scripts. I like debating about political things im passionate about (FYI, I'm a huge liberalist) and I like the way paper smells when it's aged and musty and yet in almost perfect condition. I like talking to people who are often mean or offensive in comment sections and trying to approach them with hope that they will see that they can turn it around rather than hate towards them for becoming a product of their environment. I am a firm believer that people are not born with hate. And I will forever believe that if you have one person that believes you can change, then that is a million times better than people attacking you for a mindset that is borne from insecurity and manipulation. I like the idea of naturism. I like to spend alot of time around trees and I often hang out of my window at night. I like the smell of essential oils; I wear those instead of perfume. I always put a peace symbol next to my name but for the longest time I used a volkswagen because I had never actually realised that the stereotypical peace symbol has an extra line going between the two at the bottom. I like crocheted stuff but I don't like to crochet. I am a feminist and I dont tolerate hate towards either gender of any kind. Again people - hope not hate! I like musical songs and I love when i get to see my family. I miss the seaside - it's awesome. I like to dress up pretty "masc" sometimes but also absolutely adore being hyper-feminine at others. Normally, I don't think about that though, and I just wear what feels right on the day. I like reminiscing about my younger years but I am also a firm believer that people often view the past with rose-tinted spectacles - and I will embrace every opportunity life throws at me with optimism. I love to embrace my creativity and imagination. I like it when girls are shorter than you with curly hair. I like it when guys are also shorter than you with curly hair. I like curly hair. I like big teddies and I like to pretend like I am super hard core when I turn off the lights at the bottom of the stairs and walk slowly up each step. I dont believe in any particular religion but I love the idea of being into crystals and stuff and I respect people who with-hold any religion because that is called being a respectful member of society, people. I like collecting rocks and hand-held fans for my windowsill, and I like buying my friends things and carrying their bags for them. I like satin pillowcases and bed sheets. I like knitted clothes with gaps in them. I like abandoned buses and talking on and on about stuff without making any paragraphs or extra sections. I like getting picture frames, putting them on display and never putting photographs in them. I like taking tons of photos on my camera and probably never doing anything with them. I like hanging keychains from my window handles and drawing on the boards of the bottom of my bunk bed. I like carrying little toys from when I was little around with me in my breast-pocket, close to my heart. I like singing, songwriting, photoshoots, playing guitar, playing piano and I'd love to learn literally every instrument ever. Honestly I will *genuinely* listen to everything. Only thing i'm not really a fan of is AI generated slop. like those lofi hip-hop playlists. yuck.

Movies

The Silence of the Lambs, But I'm a Cheerleader!, Beetlejuice, Heathers, Anastasia (CRIMINALLY underrated film) aswell as less underrated films like Brave and Tangled, the whole X trilogy (Pearl and that), Star wars, Ghostbusters, jumanji, hmm. There is so many. The Barbie film made me sob too

Television

Yellowjackets, OITNB, The Queens Gambit, Doctor Who, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Young Sheldon, Brooklyn 99, Friends (but I'm not allowed to watch it anymore because I just feel so sad about the way Matthew Perry and so many other actors and actresses have died and so I stop taking my meds and go into a bit of a spiral).

Books

The fault in our stars, By John Green ( I spent hours writing an essay on this on GoodReads because I LOVED it so much, it made me sob six times ) Jacqueline Wilson books, I want to read more Stephen King, I read wuthering heights n found it boring as fuck but I LOVE Kate Bush wuthering heights and just her in general, I regularly include her pieces in my gigs. Books by Jojo Moyes are regularly a beautiful experience : namely "The Giver of Stars" and "The Girl you left behind". Also, "The Island" By Victoria Hislop was amazing but I may be biased due to having watched it in the place it's set and because I got to visit Spinalonga island. Which made me cry. <3
