About me:

Hi :) A little about me: I recently got back into reading after a long slump, and it’s been amazing. I’m especially drawn to forbidden or taboo tropes. It’s not necessarily how I’d represent myself in real life, but there’s something comforting about exploring the unreachable through fiction. I’ve always believed that humans are naturally drawn to what’s just out of reach we crave what we can’t have, even when we already have enough. I guess that’s what taboo stories are for me: a safe space to explore that curiosity. Music is another big part of my life. I love discovering new artists and sounds. My taste is all over the place pop, metal, hip-hop, jazz you name it. The only genre I haven’t really connected with is techno or house. For me, music depends on mood, and I love how different genres let me experience different emotions. Writing has always been one of my biggest passions. For a long time, I thought I would pursue it seriously in college, but reality hit hard and things didn’t go as planned. Still, I’m not giving up on it. Maybe I’ll take courses, improve my craft, and someday turn it into a side hustle or more. It’s something that feels too much like “me” to ever fully let go of. I dream of traveling seeing new places, meeting people, learning about different cultures and religions. Ironically, I’m not really a people person, but I love observing and listening to others. There’s something soothing about simply watching people exist and express themselves. I wouldn’t say I’m religious, though my family is, and I sometimes feel pressured by that. I hope that within the next year, I’ll grow into myself more fully become more independent in my beliefs, more emotionally intelligent, and more aligned with who I truly am. Personal growth means a lot to me. I want to experience life deeply, not just pass through it. That’s me, for now. :)
