Wow that's awesome! I hope you get the job. I'm happy to run into 2 more people that buy CD's! One time, I was a Barnes & Noble looking at the CD's. A teenager was looking through the Vinyls and his mom comes looking for him. She didn't say it at me, but she said it out loud. "OMG, they still sell CD's? People don't have YouTube or what?" She said it with a very disrespectful tone. I found it funny because she said YouTube and not Spotify or Apple Music lol. Those would have made more sense. Unless, she uses YouTube Music, is that still a thing? Anyways, nice to run into other like me! CD's sound way better than streaming. And its awesome to have music you can physically hold and have access to, even without a subscription! Hope you're having a great time on SpaceHey!

I have a lot of friends here who still buy CD's by the way. Probably because the most part of people I know are musicians or music related in a certain way.
I must admit that I have a Spotify account and I find it super useful for a lot of things. By example when I go walking and I don't want to bring with me load of CD's ahahahaah!
Youtube is a good way to discover and listen to music that, otherwise, it wouldn't be easy to find. I follow some profiles who upload even 80's and 90's demotapes... Which are nearly impossible to find even in secondhand shops and markets! So, yes, every media has its pros and cons! Of course, when I manage to find the physical support I immediately buy it - if I have money in my wallet of course xD

I will never see Youtube, Spotify and similia as substitutes of CD's, vynils and cassettes (I heard that cassettes are living a sort of revival right now) for the reasons I mentioned in my first comment, nut they're surely a good addiction when the physical support is no longer on sale or when you want to walk or travel with less weight possible xD

Yeah maybe its mostly the music people who see the beauty of physical media. I'm not a musician myself but I love learning about high fidelity audio and all that kind of stuff. I also have Spotify. Low key, I use it to listen to albums so I know if I should spend money on the physical copy lol. Speaking of cassettes, I went to a store called Fye because I was looking for CDs and they had some. I actually found a cassette of a new album. I don't remember the artist but it was from the Hip-Hop genre. I was so surprised they still make cassettes for new albums! even if they are very limited, it was interesting to see.

thanks but in all fairness it wasn't my design. im still using a Nikon d3500 i was taught by my mom on an Olympus om-2 when i was a kid so i haven't really embraced the techy side yet lol

Oh man, that's cool. I always wanted to try film cameras. I think creativity really shines through when you have to work within certain limits of your tools/technology. I really hate when people say, "Hey you take really good pictures, you must have a nice camera." Kind of makes you feel like they don't believe in your skill. It must just be your good camera. The awesome thing about using older gear is that you show your creativity and skill without the asterisk that is what gear you use. I look forward to checking out some of your photography bro.
