General

Does the fact that I skateboard make me sexy? I play the drums - usually rock and hiphop because I like how technical hiphop beats can get whilst still flowing nicely and being fun to play - but I also sometimes play metal, punk, 'n other stuff. Art galleries are sick, specifically modern art ones (I think they don't get enough love) and so are aquariums with fish twice my size. The bigger the better. I really like ancient marine life, my favourite being the dunkleosteus. Specifically D. terrelli which is the largest aquatic placoderm to ever live. I'm probably neurodivergent in some sort of way, I just can't be bothered to get that checked out. I'm also colourblind, lucky me.

Music

Anything that has a good swing to it or some LOUD drums will definitely hold my attention. I like a lot of hardcore punk - folk punk - bebop - jazz - metal - and whatever genre Hozier is. I'm a CD userrr, I don't use Spotify anywhere near as much as I used to but I still hop on to support smaller artists whos albums I feel bad about burning. I'm a pirate with a moral compass, yk? Movies

I LOVE horror movies. Recently rewatched Pontypool and it was just as good as it was a couple years ago, take that how you will. My favourite movies include: Watership Down (the 1978 version is the best) - Mysterious Skin- Dog Soldiers - Princess Mononoke - Whiplash - Withnail and I - Trainspotting - Greece - and Isle of Dogs. Mysterious Skin is genuinely such a good movie I think it's left a permanent mark on my soul. Like watching it made me feel sick but it was really good and the way it portrayed the different responses to sexual trauma was great.

Television

It's a Sin is both one of the happiest and the most heartbreaking series I've ever watched and I think everyone should be forced to sob uncontrollably at 3AM as I have after watching it. It's so unbelievably good and deals with the topic of the 80s AIDS epidemic in such an raw way that it's a must watch for anyone, queer or otherwise. I also really like: Voltron - Pokemon - Castlevania - Interview With a Vampire - River Monsters - Sweet Home - and a whole bunch more that I lowkey can't remember rn.

Books

I LOVE literature. Analysing and dissecting books are some of my favourite things to do. My favourite genre has got to be southern gothic as I think the clear influences of events such as the Coal Wars on the genre as a whole are super interesting and breed a type of literature you don't get much elsewhere. It's gritty and typically has a social commentary that typical gothic literature tends to lose in poeticism. It's also aimed at a more working class readership and clearly reflects that in how it deals with real working class struggle rather than the struggles of business men staying with vampiric noblemen, for example. Heroes

I don't know, man, I hate everyone in power right now and those in the public eye are entirely untrustworthy. My boyfriend is probably my hero, he's so cool and awesome and amazing.
