it was my #1 movie for a very long time, i've watched it more times than i care to count, admittedly never read the comic, though! just played the game, watched the movie, and the netflix show

the show i definitely recommend, it's a very cute and simple exploration of the story that is worth watching even if you don't like the ideas it has. the only con is that the voice cast is all from the movie, but they clearly have no direction! some people are replicating their original voices, others are trying to sound cartoon-y, and others are doing crazy anime dub voices, everybody sounds a little different.

i can't speak on the game, it's been a very long time since i played it with my sister, but i know it was good

it did have a re-release on switch, yeah. i played the original on xbox 360 - i probably still have it! - i have yet to play through the new version, iirc it has new content and songs. the (pixel) art style of it suits the franchise very well imo
