poetry is not as hard as you think it is!!! I go to an art school for writing and I've learned that poetry is the easiest way to document what you've learned and you can use it to show the spontaneous inspiration you've gotten. It's so much easier than writing short stories where you have to commit to an idea. I think everyone should give poetry a chance! You don't need to have flowery language, just do what fits your voice <3
