Midnight

About me:

Hey, I'm Midnight, an 19-year-old Valentine's baby who has Autism Spectrum Disorder.

I am currently doing a Level 3 course on Cyber Security, then I'll be doing a Level 4 HNC on Computing.

My biggest interest is computers, technology and using the internet (especially the old internet, like here), so pretty much stuff that's mainly software-based but I do have knowledge of hardware as well. I have been using computers at a pretty young age and have been learning a lot of things myself (I especially love using web administration tools and my beloved web host), and I type pretty fast!

I always prioritise open-source software more than proprietary software (unless there's no pricing models, no open source version of it or it's something I know best) because let's be real, why pay for something that can be made free? And plus, even if that software is free, it could be very dodgy. Trust me, I remember always downloading and installing really scuffed applications just because I typed "free" in everything as a kid. So, just go with open-source software, it is much more secure and you can always change the code if you face any bugs!

My other interests are video games; I don't mind what video game, as long as it interests me or something I can be good at. Although, I do mainly enjoy playing creative video games like Cities: Skylines, Minecraft (Creative) and Garry's Mod as it provides that "you can do whatever you want" vibe and the ability to be able to explore really intrigues me. Although, I can play other genres too (Yakuza 0 is amazing, and so is Persona 5), but I am crap at multiplayer shooting games like Fortnite, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (yeah, that needs to be in here), Counter-Strike, etc.

As an ESFJ (Extrovert), I love talking to people who are cool and getting to know them whilst also building and maintaining a positive friendship. The best thing about it is that I respect anybody; so regardless of their identity, I will talk to them (unless they're a weirdo / risky person (who may affect lives)).
