history, politics (which also is kinda my current job) vintage and antique clothes (charity shops lowkey saving my wallet lol), alternative fashion beyond just how i dress!, painting and drawing. If it wasn't already obvious, I lean quite left on politics but I'm always up for a debate. I also did figure skating for 11 years competitively but quit since i wanted to focus on school journaling, honestly i might start keeping a digital journal here.

Movies |
Old Finnish movies go kinda hard. I have my letterboxed linked down below but I update it pretty rarely nowadays. I also like to watch documentaries while painting or embroidering. And if the movie has gregory peck.... i will indeed watch it. celebrity crush #1, and hear me out technically he knew me too because my great great aunts sister in law danced with him and gave him flowers when he was in finland. totally logical. no i am not delusional.

I feel like I read more non-fiction these days, because I just enjoy learning about stuff lol. I loved the Wuthering heights and Pride and Prejudice (i need my romance books okay)((wuthering heights is NOT a romance book though..)) And right now i should start reading Anna Karenina.

Hello! I'm a 17 year old (2008) girl from Finland, currently studying as an exchange student in the United States. I'm very interested in art and history, which might be obvious from the profile design. Back in Finland I attend a special high school that has a special visual arts education which I enjoy very much. I like to walk around the city a lot after school since the architecture of Helsinki is very pleasant to the eye... at least most of the time. Anyways, I hope you like my profile!

Honestly anyone at this point. I'm a very social person and I get along with all sorts of people despite not even having much in common with them. In any case if you share any interests with me and would like to chat with me I would be happy to do so! Only people I really don't want to associate with are like neo-nazis and people who get super easily offended. But the bar is pretty low, lowkey just be a nice person lol. I'd be happy to make more friends.
