Music

I love music so much. My favorite genre is midwest emo type music. My favorite band is Marietta. They're so amazing. I also love Merchant Ships, empire! empire! (i was a lonely estate), Hot Mulligan, Mccafferty, Modern Baseball, Vs self, etc. Oakwood is one of my favorites as well (local to my city!!) Also J-Rock enthusiast (Japanese math rock is amazing), Vocaloid listener as well, and J-Pop. I listen to other genres too, but generally listen to emo music. I also like some rap and I like metal too. Senses Fail is one of my favorites, as well as Bring Me The Horizon. MCR and PTV are great as well. I listen to many others not listed here as well!!

Movies

Kinda a nerd so mainly shows and movies consist of anime. My favorite is A Silent Voice. The characters resonate with me a lot and I love the story. It made me cry. Your Name was also amazing

Television

As mentioned in the movies category, I like anime. My favorite is Kiznaiver (TIED WITH STEINS;GATE. STEINS;GATE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, AND A COMPLETE MINDFUCK) Re:Zero is close (still need to watch season 3!)Anohana: The Flower we saw that day; is also extremely close, (it made me sob like a small child!), Honorable Mentions: Angel Beats (i think you can see the pattern, I like extremely emotional stuff😭), No longer allowed in another world (the main character is mentally ill like me!! this show is funny asf), Horimiya, Call of The Night (COTN had such a great vibe! I loved it so much. Just look it up and you'll get what I mean, just from pictures of the scenes), Classroom of The Elite.

Books

I haven't read a ton, but I'm getting into it. I read No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai (depressing, but great). My favorite book, Three Days of Happiness by Sugaru Miaki, is a MASTERPIECE. Genuinely changed my perspective on life, would 100% recommend (especially to my mentally ill brothers😭), when I was done I just stared at the ceiling like "wow" and then re-read it again recently. The second read is even better than the first one. Would recommend to anyone. I know there's a manga adaptation for it but I haven't read it. I've only read the novel (don't worry it's only one book not multiple volumes lmao). From what I've heard, the novel is better (which makes sense) Speaking of manga, I've read A Silent Voice (the manga is arguably better than the movie), it's great. Amazing. (don't get me wrong, the movie is still a masterpiece) Tokyo Ghoul is good too (once again, the manga is better than the anime)
