Hello! Welcome to my page.

Call me Prism - short for the Prismatic System! I am transmasc, and my preferred pronouns are he/him/his. (Some alters in our system may prefer other pronouns too.)

FAQ:

"What is a system?" ~ A system is a group of alters living together in one body - like permanent roommates! It's called a system because the alters (usually) function as a unit. Many systems have disorders such as dissociative identity disorder (DID), but not all of them do.
"What are alters?" ~ In a system, an alter can be defined as a different being. Each alter may have a different name, gender identity, age, personality, set of preferences, and even memory. Since "alter" is a clinical term, some systems prefer the colloquial term "headmate" instead.
"How come you sometimes end a post or statement with an emoji?" ~ In our system, each alter claims a different emoji to use as a unique identifier. We use them as a way to quickly and anonymously differentiate between ourselves. Think of it like a code name or a username.
"Can I ask questions that aren't in the FAQ?" ~ If the questions you want to ask are respectful and non-invasive, then yes.
